CANNABIDIOLCANNABIDIOL AS ANTI AGING MEDIUM

Cannabis and its active ingredients are now increasingly in the public spotlight. The cannabinoids it contains are said not only to have a positive effect on many diseases and complaints, but also to help against some signs of skin aging.

CANNABIDIOL AS AN EFFECTIVE REMEDY AGAINST SKIN AGING

Aging is a completely normal human process, which generally cannot be stopped.

Nevertheless, some people take drastic measures to counteract the biological consequences of ageing – from injections of botox, hyaluron and other drugs to plastic surgery. However, it has now been shown that there are also some natural remedies that can be used effectively against signs of skin aging.

The skin loses its elasticity with age and small wrinkles gradually form, which become larger and deeper over time. With increasing age, the body produces less elastin and collagen. These are particularly important for the elasticity and fullness of the tissue, so that the skin becomes thinner and less elastic as its availability decreases. This results in wrinkles and dry skin, as the production of elastin and collagen decreases and the glands of the skin produce fewer fats.

However, many skin aging processes are influenced not only by changes in our body, but also by external circumstances. These include, for example, our lifestyle and damage caused by excessive exposure to sunlight. The cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) contained in cannabis has some amazing effects on the various signs of skin aging.

CANNABIDIOL

Besides tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabidiol (CBD) is the best-known active ingredient in cannabis. It is thought to have many different health-promoting effects, including anti-inflammatory, anxiolytic and analgesic effects. Cannabidiol belongs to the so-called phytocannabinoids, which are one of the three active substance groups of cannabis.

Phytocannabinoids are similar to endocannabinoids produced by the human body itself. The cannabinoid has only a small psychoactive effect, which is why it is legally available in many countries. CBD, for example, is available in the form of CBD oil or CBD capsules. Read more about CBD news and reviews

FRESH SKIN THROUGH CANNABIDIOL

Cannabidiol is a so-called antioxidant and even one of the strongest currently known. Antioxidants eliminate harmful free radicals in our body. These are caused by environmental influences and a wrong diet and have a negative effect on the skin. Among other things, they are responsible for a faster breakdown of collagen and thus also for premature skin aging.

Cannabidiol as an antioxidant catches the free radicals and binds them so that they cannot develop their harmful effect. This can make the skin appear healthier and younger in the long term. In addition, cannabidiol can have a positive effect on the sebaceous glands in the skin. There seems to be a connection between the endocannabinoid system of the human body and the oil excretion of the sebaceous glands. A lack of endocannabinoids leads to a reduced excretion of oil in the sebaceous glands.

This deficiency of endocannabinoids can be compensated by externally supplied cannabinoids and thus stimulate the oil production of the human body. This leads to a fuller and fresher looking skin.

COMBAT SKIN AGING WITH CANNABIDIOL

In general, cannabidiol can be supplied to the body in various ways. In the meantime, there are even creams and lotions that contain the active ingredient and can easily be applied to the skin. However, not too much is known about whether CANNABIDIOLis actually absorbed by the skin.

Therefore, the additional intake of CBD-containing products should also be considered, as the skin is supplied with the active ingredient from the outside and inside. Cannabidiol can be taken orally in the form of CBD oil or CBD capsules. When buying an oil there are a few things to consider, such as that it is a full-spectrum product. In addition, the content of cannabidiol should be taken into account. Beginners usually start with 5% oil. It is also important to note that hardly any natural CBD oil contains more than 8%.

At a higher content, the active substance was very probably synthetically produced. The advantage of the oil lies in its freely selectable dosage. In general, you should always start with as low a dose as possible and then slowly increase it. Capsules are particularly suitable for those who do not like the taste of the oil. In addition, the capsules are easier for some people to take and also easier to transport.
