DC Council Health Hearing – May 5 2017
The DC council is considering requiring MMJ program applicants to first see their primary care doctor before seeing a doctor to get their MMID card. This is a serious threat to all we have achieved in the MMJ program because it would make it much more difficult for patients to gain access to treatment. In particular, those people who are financially less well off will be most affected by this if it is made law.
