October Workshop Hosted by Grassroots Healing (MD) October 5 2019

Did you know that medical cannabis has now been available in Maryland for a whole year?! Thousands of patients have turned to cannabis as an alternative treatment for their chronic health conditions, and the feedback has been amazing! However, we’ve noticed that many people are still confused about how to become a cannabis patient in Maryland and, more importantly, how to use the plant effectively as a medicine. If you have been thinking of turning to cannabis as a medical alternative but don’t know where to start, you’ll want to join us for this event!

This workshop will provide basic medical cannabis education and certifications for qualifying Maryland patients, along with assistance in registering with the state. We will start with a cannabis 101 educational presentation highlighting the medicinal properties of the plant, it’s various uses, and proper dosage for beginners. We will also go over Maryland’s program and regulations. Afterwards, patients will be registered with the state and seen by the nurse practitioner for a medical consult.

Once you have gone through the process of a medical consult and have received your medical cannabis card from the state, you’ll have access to over 70 medical cannabis dispensaries throughout the state who will provide you with safe, effective, and natural medicine!

Get your certified written recommendation and become a well-informed cannabis patient at this event for a special price of $150 (*$25 deposit due at time of RSVP, $125 due at event)!!!

**As of January 1, 2019, the state is REQUIRING all patients to purchase a physical ID card at the time of registering. There is a $50 fee for this process that goes directly to the state and is separate from the physician‘s fee. The fee must be paid with a Visa or Mastercard at the time of registration. Your state-issued medical cannabis ID card will be good for 3 years.

*If registrants want to expedite the waiting period for their card, they can do the state registration online before the event (remember $50 fee is due during this step). If you do decide to register on your own, you can start the application here. Please be sure to read ALL the instructions in order to avoid your application being denied. If this step is too confusing, we can do it for you at the event!!

*30 minute educational presentation will start promptly at 9am!
