The Black Experience in Cannabis 2020 (DC) September 17 2020
First and foremost, I’d like to thank you for being a significant part of ‘The Black Experience in Cannabis’ and its success over the past several years. As a result of this collective effort we are educational leaders in the global cannabis industry providing opportunities for communities of color to reinvest in our future, live healthier lives, optimize on our innate entrepreneurism spirit, and build generational wealth for future generations. To achieve this vision we have made it our mission to educate, connect, empower, equip and support Black and Brown (people of color) who are in or entering into the cannabis community. We provide opportunities and safe spaces for black and brown people negatively affected by the War on Drugs, and encourage all to share their narrative in the cannabis industry. We urge everyone to become “Cannabis Change Agents” in advocacy and policy reform. We seek to “Change Minds and Change the Culture” of Marijuana from a derogatory stigma to a human biological right to medicate.
